Programme LIFE I FIND A BAT / I HAVE A COLONY

There are, in each French region, free devices to help individuals and communities who have questions following the settlement of bats in their homes or public buildings: SOS bats.

Appropriate advice is given by telephone or, if the case requires, a site visit is arranged. Moreover, these interventions provide valuable data about the number and the distribution of different species in each region.

Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, SOS bats is coordinated by the GCP.

Languedoc-Roussillon, SOS bats is coordinated by the GCLR (contact: alepe-dir@wanadoo.fr).

If you live in a region other than those covered by the LIFE program, you can find details of your local coordinator on site SFEPM.

If the bat appears injured, you can also contact wildlife help centres listed in your area here.
